Hello and Welcome to Liskeard Town and Local!
This site is brand new and it's purpose is to attempt to serve the entire Liskeard online community.
Over the coming months the site will be growing and evolving, and hopefully, adapting to suit the needs and requirements of its users.
In order to make the best use of the site, you really do need to read the FAQs section.
So what is the site all about? . . .
Well, to begin with. . .
Your Own Space - Local organisations - clubs, societies, schools, charities, sports clubs, local government etc.
All the above will be able to sign up some of their members, and designate them as editors, publishers and authors. These people will then be able to access the site themselves and publish relevant information. This is as easy as using a word processor.
All registered users can have their say.
Registered users login and add the venues and dates of your own organisations' events.
This section currently has photographs from some of the local events that took place over the summer.
The place to come when you need important local phone numbers quickly.
This section will be soon expanded.
Can be found on the Home Page and occasionally elsewhere.
The Online Games section can only offer Sudoku at present. - Sorry!
And for those who like to have their reading material delivered to them rather than having to visit the site, we have RSS feeds which can be read by the most popular RSS readers.
